Regular maintenance on your HVAC equipment is not just an optional chore; it is essential for protecting your appliances and ensuring year-round comfort. By scheduling annual professional tune-ups, you keep your system running at peak performance and ultimately extend the lifespan of your unit.
Skipping maintenance can also lead to voided manufacturer warranty, leaving you fully responsible for costly repairs that could have been covered. Cost
Terms and Conditions
One free diagnostic visit per equipment per calendar year. This can be used as the first diagnostic visit at the time of sign up.
Diagnostic visits do not roll over to the next calendar year.
The unlimited warranty only applies to the parts we replace. Labour costs are not included after one year.
Maintenance plans are a 12 month term and cannot be cancelled before term ends
Maintenance plan will auto-renew until cancelled.
Plan coverage is non-transferable to another residence
Sentinel Heating & Cooling Ltd. reserves the right to cancel the maintenance plan due to misuse of equipment or non-compliance with recommended maintenance procedures.
Your credit card on file will be charged the balance due. Sentinel Heating & Cooling Ltd. reserves the right to revise prices by providing 30 days advance notice.
All prices are subject to tax.
The maintenance plan provided by Sentinel Heating & Cooling Ltd. does not cover any costs, including diagnosis and service, repair, parts replacement, or adjustment for equipment used for commercial applications. Repair costs incurred due to the following reasons will not be covered under the plans: design faults or pre-existing faults, defects, or deficiencies that have been previously repaired during the first 30 days prior to the commencement of the plan; improper use, tampering, alterations, or repairs by persons other than Sentinel Heating & Cooling Ltd personnel; loss, fire, theft, accidental or deliberate damage; extreme weather conditions, subsidence, structural repairs, redecoration or renovation-related work, explosion, earthquake, lightning, flood, storm, acts of war or other insurable risks; improper setting of the thermostat, blown household electrical fuse or circuit breaker required for the unit; improper sizing or application of the equipment; the Heating Unit or Cooling Unit has been turned off; breakdown of heating, cooling, appliance, electrical, or plumbing systems due to lack of reasonable maintenance.
During the execution of work covered under the plan, there may be minor damages to wall coverings, drywall, plaster, wallpaper, paint, floor coverings, tile, cabinetry, countertops, landscaping, or there may be structural or cosmetic defects. Costs of redecoration or restoration of these damages or defects are not covered under the plan.
If there are any Building and Zoning Code Requirements or violations discovered before or during the diagnosis or repair of equipment, you are required to complete the necessary corrective work at your own expense before we undertake the required repair or services of the equipment. You are required to obtain the necessary permits before we undertake the service or repair of the equipment. We shall not be responsible for service or repairs, or delay in rendering the service on account of your non-compliance with any of the above requirements. If additional costs are incurred in order to comply with local, provincial, or federal law, we shall not be responsible for that additional expense.
The plan will not cover service involving hazardous or toxic materials, asbestos, lead, or the disposal of refrigerants or contaminants.
We will not provide any maintenance under the plan if the equipment is not easily accessible, or if our authorized technician refuses to enter the premises due to the presence of animals, insects, unsanitary conditions, or unsafe conditions. We may terminate your plan at our sole discretion if, in our reasonable assessment, the conditions of the residence where the equipment is located are unsanitary or unsafe. Upon termination of your plan, we will refund the entire or proportional payment depending on the service rendered during the current coverage year under the plan.
Heat pumps, equipment using conversion burners, the conversion burner itself, and ductless, wall unit, heat pump, and high-velocity units are not eligible for coverage. Equipment serving more than one dwelling unit is not eligible for coverage. Heating equipment that heats using electricity or a fuel other than natural gas (e.g., oil, propane, wood, etc.) is not eligible for coverage.
Your plan coverage is not transferable to another residence. If you move, the balance of the plan coverage then in effect remains with the covered apppliances and will be transferred to the new owner.

Warranty: The maintenance plan does not guarantee that the equipment will not fail or provide any warranties, express or implied, as to the equipment unless stated on the Terms and Conditions of new purchases. The Customer assumes responsibility for the condition of the equipment.
